生意失败、老婆又跑到南美，跟当红足球明星打得火热，失意的酒商于是带著青春期儿子绕过大半个地球，从丹麦到阿根廷，儿子很快发展出自己的恋情，做老爸的看著老婆与情人双宿双飞，思考自己人生到底败在那里。
这似乎是个合乎时令的「气候变迁」悲喜剧，从冰冷阴郁的丹麦到热情洋溢的阿根廷──美酒、足球、探戈、火辣的性爱──所有你想得到、关于这两个国家文化差异的真实与刻板印象，玩弄得淋漓尽致，这么大闹一场（其实不只一场）后，主角们对于生命与爱情也必然有新的见解。但导演自然意识到自己把玩了太多的老梗，于是有意无意间还是要祭出些惊奇，免得尽入俗套。于是我们愉快地跟著去阿根廷渡了个假，无须承担主人公的苦恼，不管结局是出于意外还是预期，都不算亏了，不是吗？
