即将举办的高中同学会犹如一道闪电照亮了两人平庸的生活，在虚荣心的驱使下，她们决定乔装打扮一番，企图再度找回做“女王”的感觉。不幸的是，在同学会上，曾经的死对头希瑟（詹尼安·吉劳法罗 Janeane Garofalo 饰）毫不留情的拆穿了罗米和米歇尔苦心营造的假象，就在两人窘迫不已之时，一度被嘲笑为“书呆子”的男孩桑迪（艾伦·卡明 Alan Cumming 饰）变身百万富翁出现在了她们的面前。
