吕长富（车太贤 是）表面看来不过是一个普通的青年，却拥有着超强的“动态视力”，年幼时，因为这不同寻常之处，吕长富常常遭到周围人的欺负和非议，幼小的心灵受到了伤害，吕长富终日躲在家中，足不出户，依靠看电视剧度日。然而，屏幕背后的世界毕竟只是虚幻，终于，吕长富决心踏出家门，去看一看真正的社会是怎样一副模样。吕长富来到了韩国监控管制中心，却因为性格的原因在工作中四处碰壁，和同事们相处亦并不愉快。好在他结识了名为炳洙（吴达洙 饰）的博士，后者成为了他最坚实的后盾。凭借着自己的特殊能力，吕长富很快就得到了上司的重用，某日，在监视器中，吕长富见到了名为秀美（南相美 是）的少女，命运的车轮就此开始转动。
