经过一番接触，简发现查尔斯的个性单纯，本性善良，正是绝好的行骗对象，便决定下手。然而，随着时间的推移，查尔斯的独特魅力渐渐感染了简，令后者无法自拔的爱上了她。然而，就在此时，查尔斯得知了简的真实身份和目的，愤怒的他决定彻底的离开简。
