怀抱舞蹈梦的帕布罗毫不掩饰自己的同志身分，身为假人模特儿师傅的年迈父亲璜却从不愿正视这点，两人相依为命却日渐疏离，帕布罗转而寄情于女性挚友、同志夜店及肉体慾望，一场恶意攻击却打碎这个单亲家庭，同时面临爱子受到重伤、必须支付大笔医药费，又遭到合伙人背叛的璜，情绪被逼向崩溃临界点，却也开始体会帕布罗的挣扎与渴望。
智利新锐编导艾力克斯安汪特的首部长片，取材自2012年同志遭到谋杀的真实桉件，才华洋溢的他甚至身兼精准营造氛围的配乐，以智利圣地牙哥苍茫的市景与夜幕衬托角色内心的深沉孤寂，父亲埋首于虚假的模特儿中，强烈对比出他从未真正关心儿子的漠视，亦陈仓暗度保险和医疗体制的缺陷，延续拉美电影近年来在同志题材上的斐然成绩。
