台北一个中产家庭，39岁的伟中（任贤齐 饰）在眼镜店上班，有贴心的妻子阿凤（范晓萱 饰）和可爱的儿子。这样的日子已经过了九年，伟中选择完全隐藏起年轻时的他，然而在男人四十的关卡突然出现了一些变化。首先，伟中的妹妹Mandy（夏于乔 饰）在订婚晚宴上和未婚夫分手，这个决定打乱了伟中一家的步调；接着，阿凤因为家庭工作的双重压力开始质疑自己是否真的快乐，进而想用再生个孩子来解决麻烦；而伟中则在重遇同志老友纶纶（柯宇纶 饰）后，发现自己仍渴求真爱，而真爱的机会来自他遇见Thomas（黄嘉乐 饰）的那天。这个香港来的帅气空少到伟中的店里配眼镜，两人一见锺情，可随着关系越亲近，伟中便越挣扎。他知道为这段激情再次出柜后果不堪设想，可是他也不甘心就这样过一辈子......
台湾导演陈骏霖继《一页台北》后与知名监制李烈联手打造充满感情味的轻巧电影《明天记得爱上我》，突破爱情电影的传统模式，为现代男男女女面对爱情、婚姻与人生各项难题解惑。
