《DL2》反应了30年代晚期到40年代早期由László Moholy-Nagy引入芝加哥的包豪斯运动所带来的巨大影响。这部作品用了大量10英尺长的未曝光黑白胶片，依次浸入冷水、定影液、热水、显影液后重复操作。导演Janiak将处理后的胶片组接成他说称作的“有趣的序列”，有选择性地用各种不同的颜色凝胶进行上色，仔细地标记各种颜色段落然后以不同的播放速率重复组接起来。
