8年后，温沃斯退役归来，他已脱胎成一个举止风度不凡的翩翩美男子，又继承了大笔财富，迅即成为社交之星。而安妮最好的青春却早在漫长的岁月中空掷殆尽，回首往事，安妮对当年的决定追悔不已……
