SIMON从海军陆战队的训练中因不及格被逐出。SIMON的祖父和爸爸都是海军陆战队队员，但是SIMON身体不够强壮，思想也不够过硬，因此没有能够通过训练的项目。在他回家的路上，Simon被MAROK, DALE 和 DENNY绑架，和一群无辜的陌生人人被扔入一个货车货箱之内。所有人都不认识彼此，并且他们都与Simon一样的方式被绑架。Marok, Dale 和 Denny把Simon和众多的陌生人带到一个偏远的大厦之内，并把他们锁在一个地下室的屋子内。很快Simon和陌生人们被迫与死亡征战，并且认识到他们是一个神秘的邪教崇拜的启动仪式的一部分。MAROK, DALE 和 DENNY策划了这个仪式，并且有一大群的邪教新的加入者发誓要加入邪教的崇拜。他们最后的启动考试是和被绑架的陌生人战斗，直到杀死对方。每个陌生人和每个崇拜者进行1对1的战斗 。Simon的思绪回到了他在海军陆战队的训练，他用他所学的成为了陌生人的领导，他们一起帮助Simon逃跑。Simon最终击败并杀死了他的对手，逃了出去。
