红磨坊位于巴黎蒙马特区的皮加勒红灯区地带，始建于1889年，是巴黎历史最悠久的秀场，现在可容纳2000余人，吸引着世界各地的观众。2001年尼可·基德曼主演的《红磨坊》更使它名声大噪。红磨坊又以现代康康舞的发源地闻名，这种舞蹈融入了更多的杂技和运动技巧，穿着华丽的女郎们跳着欢快的舞蹈，不时地掀起裙摆，随着明快的节奏，踢高大腿，惊艳之余，略带疯狂。此外，上空秀也很有吸引力（舞者上半身裸露）。舞者精美的服饰都由意大利设计大师量身定制，舞台设计相当考究，场景变化多样，舞者来自世界各地，表演水准非常高，期间穿插了杂技、魔术等表演，惊艳而刺激。
