拉瑞（本·阿弗莱克 Ben Affleck 饰）看起来人高马大仪表堂堂，却是一个整日里不务正业游手好闲的小马仔。某天，老大交给了他一项十分重要的任务——绑架一位名叫布莱恩（贾斯汀·巴萨 Justin Bartha 饰）的男子，他是当地检察官的弟弟，而该检察官手上掌握着能够将老大送进监狱的证据。
