槍戰、犯罪現場、政府突擊以及爭取獲得合法許可種植大麻的鬥爭。在加州及一些美國部份地域，種植大麻可能是合法的，本片將鏡頭對準狂野的西岸，紀錄位於加州專營大麻生意的「山谷姐妹」。
專業的大麻生產設備，打開冰箱，塞滿大麻葉，房子裡空氣中飄滿大麻味……，以Sister Kate為首，成立無政府行動主義修女團體，不過她們也認為自己絕非宗教信仰，而是在精神上使用大麻療法治療病人。她們相信大麻中的藥用成份能治牙疼、頭痛、宿醉，依照月球周期種植大麻，一邊禱告一邊收成，她們將採集後的大麻製成捲煙、香膏、乳液各種產品，自產自銷還經營網拍，生意超夯。本片除了紀錄Sister Kate以大麻事業自失敗的人生中重新站起，也紀錄透過合作模式幫助女性經濟獨立，賦予新時代女性的新價值。
