◎简 介
女演员丽兹、玛丽娅纳和古尼拉正在排练希腊古典戏剧家阿里斯托芬的《里斯特拉塔》，在排练过程中．三个妇女不由自主地把剧中人的遭遇同她们个人生活相联。丽兹的丈夫是个粗鲁的股票经记人，他要丽兹离开舞台，留在家里。玛丽娅纳同一个年纪比她大的医生同居并有一个孩子，医生勉强同妻子离婚而同她一起生活使她决定停止演出。古尼拉丈夫整天抑郁不欢，她整天忙这忙那，还要同五个孩子打交道。在巡回演出过程中，三个妇女便谈论起她们同丈夫的关系和对男性的印象和看法。她们想象着发动一次反叛活动……
幕后花絮
本片的女导演梅依柴特林是瑞典六十年代末新崛起的女导演，她巧妙地用阿里斯托芬的《里斯特拉塔》这出描写妇女的三幕古典喜剧来对照三个现代妇女为争取自己的权利而展开的斗争。影片公映后，曾引起欧美和瑞典电影评论界的广泛注意，影片是对现代社会的嘲讽，诙谐、尖锐，是“一部现代喜剧的相当可喜的序幕”。
