爷爷去世了，奶奶独居在家。屋子里充满了奶奶关于过去的记忆，这些记忆甚至固化成了物品、动物和人，有了自己的生命，而奶奶，则像是失忆了，在失忆的人面前，时间彻底失效。
叶子毕业回到家，过最后一个暑假，不断被家中神出鬼没的记忆骚扰。这些记忆有些像是爷爷、有些像是小时候的自己、有些谁也不是，是陌生人、一只猫或是一丛草。关于过去的记忆在万物之间流转，叶子从害怕到慢慢接受到爱，是接受伤心的童年、是爱爷爷到爱一切，用这样的方式和世界在一起，重新认识和爱这个世界。
家中的奶奶也得以和记忆中的故人们重逢，终于，在一个晚上，所有人一起迎来了一场盛大的告别。
可能并不是告别，这是奶奶的一场梦，在梦里，大家永远在一起了。
