◎简 介
寅次郎因为妹妹樱子生了小孩，又回到老家柴又，并重遇20年前在商业学校时教他英文的老师坪内。寅次郎造访坪内家，表面上是与老师话旧，实际上却是为了长得慧质兰心的师妹夏子。丰富的接风宴害得惯食清淡的寅次郎腹绞痛。夏子送他入医院，寅次郎病才好一点便 与其他病人开赌局，最后还被抓 进警局。寅次郎得知素未谋面的亲生母亲原来仍在京都，遂展开一段寻亲之旅，孰料见到后者时，却发现她原来经营一家色情旅馆。寅次郎回到柴又，没想却赶上了坪内的丧礼。打击接二连三降临在他身上：夏子将要下嫁年轻医生藤村。肝肠寸断的寅次郎只好默默踏上旅途。
