长枪小杨（李修贤 饰）首先发难行刺却因失手被洪述清除，高先生先后在烟嘴冯金榜（江生 饰）、眼镜（王钟 饰）、富商陶大业（梁家仁 饰）、学生关伟（刘德华 饰）、浪子叶不凡（姜大卫 饰）、少爷梁少雄、教头（狄龙）的护卫下历经连番血战，终于杀出重围。只可叹“教头快刀、浪子富翁、学生少爷、熊虎鹰豹、眼镜烟嘴、长枪难逃”的上海滩十三太保一朝风流云散。
