◎简 介
退伍军人李长江（刘德华 饰）被两名抢劫的战友连累入狱，他受尽警察毛向阳（徐锦江 饰）毒打后被判处死刑，临刑当口，长江用父亲给他的锯片侥幸逃脱……长江找到人蛇集团偷渡到香港，于路结识了鸡心（莫少聪 饰）、阿满（李美凤 饰），阿满姑娘的善良深深打动了长江。因香港的亲戚拒绝接收长江，他只能在工地为人蛇集团头目良哥工作还账，期间长江听说阿满被卖为妓女，日夜思索搭救方法，长江孤身力拼皮条帮派不敌，只得在良哥介绍下帮助湖南帮老大沙皮卓打劫金店，以此借助帮派力量搭救阿满。同在沙皮卓手下出力的鸡心在打劫金店时险些被擒，长江搭救他以后两人结为莫逆。长江帮沙皮卓打劫后对方并未履行承诺，反而用阿满逼迫长江继续犯罪，同时毛向阳为了抓捕长江专程赴港……
