乔在曼谷灯火缭乱的街头物色到一位当地扒手康担任自己的助手兼翻译，负责与泰国雇主接头。乔很快完成了第一次任务，付出了右臂擦伤的代价，到药房寻求帮助的乔遇见聋哑姑娘Fon（杨采妮 饰），后者温柔的态度让乔的心中萌发了牵挂……康在接头的途中被一群流氓殴打，满身伤痕的康打动了乔，乔传授他战斗的技巧，自己冷酷的原则也开始发生动摇。
乔的最后一次任务是刺杀一位敢作敢为的正派政治家，康的话犹在耳边让他迟迟不能动手。另一方面，泰国雇主恐怕事情败露而欲杀人灭口。乔与黑帮雇主的战斗不可避免……
