◎简 介
Keith，一个明显遭受着某种严重的社交焦虑症折磨的人，在沟通方面有着大量的问题，他结巴、犹豫不决、支支吾吾，最终往往急速喷出一堆连他自己都不懂的话。Keith在布鲁克林和一个艰苦奋斗的音乐家Charles(Paul Grimstad扮演，为本片谱曲)住在一间公寓，他们两人的关系不好，Keith总缠着Charles付电费。Charles明显感觉自己被迫和Keith分享空间是被占了便宜，他以激烈和尖锐的侮辱回应对方，而他本身也有一堆问题。Keith的经济来源不明，但他确实有一份在郊区门挨门为一个含糊可疑的慈善季后筹款的工作，这份工作明显不适合他。Keith的社交生活，主要包括不断骚扰一个不幸闯入他视线的酒保Sandy，和试图安抚经常心烦意乱的Laura：一次他试图用袜子手偶给她振作精神，她很不高兴的说：“这是我的袜子吗？”
