来自中亚小国塔布里斯坦的木扎法（何塞·加西亚 José Garcia 饰）和弗鲁兹（迈克尔·扬 Michaël Youn 饰）本来是与世无争的牧羊人……但因为该国民选出来的当权者对法国窃取了本国发明了沙拉的声誉非常不满，随即产生了安排恐怖分子袭击埃菲尔铁塔以引起世界关注的狂想，于是木扎法和弗鲁兹二人加入训练营，完成各种学习并突破重重考验，当选为执行自杀式攻击的恐怖分子，为国争光。但二人的法国之旅充满了变数，当他们准备劫机时却因为机场地勤罢工而降落在科西嘉岛，随后又与独立分子、南部暴徒、罢工群众亲密接触，更经历了医疗事故和本国部长的要挟，在一位好心女记者的帮助下，他们终于踏上了前往巴黎的旅途……
