◎简 介
战后德国趋向复苏，汉斯（弗兰茨·罗戈夫斯基 饰）却因为同性恋行为，从集中营被直接被转送到监狱继续服刑。因为刑法典第175条认定"同性恋是一种罪行"。他对爱与自由的渴望，虽遭到了摧毁，但他生命中最深刻一段感情，竟来自他的狱友－杀人犯维多（格奥尔格·弗里德里希 饰）。
由于被归类为「175」，汉斯一到监狱，就遭到维多的鄙视。原本互看不顺眼的两人，因共处一室而逐渐熟识。擅长刺青的维多，主动帮汉斯退去原罪，去除烙在他身上的纳粹编码。而当维多犯错，汉斯也代他被关禁闭，让维多心生感激。两人不仅学会尊重彼此，并且成了知己。此时，汉斯在狱中也遇到了挚爱奥斯卡（托马斯·普伦 饰），这份爱于是成了他在狱中的唯一慰藉，直到刑满出狱…
因为无法放弃做自己，汉斯不久又因为同性恋行为再度入狱，高墙与电网成了他人生永无止尽的循环。当他与维多在狱中再次相遇时，这两个频遭社会遗弃羞辱...
