◎简 介
一次出诊中，包法利医生（让-弗朗索瓦·巴尔梅 Jean-Fran?ois Balmer）和年轻的女孩艾玛（伊莎贝尔·于佩尔 Isabelle Huppert 饰）相遇了，艾玛的纯情和美丽让医生迅速坠入了情网，两人随即结婚。婚后的生活并不如艾玛所幻想的那样充满了乐趣和激情，是帅气的雷翁（卢卡斯·贝尔沃克斯 Lucas Belvaux 饰）的出现让艾玛重新快乐了起来，但他的离开带来的则是更深的痛苦和绝望。富豪鲁道夫（克里斯托弗·马拉沃伊 Christophe Malavoy 饰）贪恋艾玛的美色，给予了她诸多的空洞承诺，而为了配得上鲁道夫，艾玛不惜赊账购入首饰与华服。在约定好私奔的那一天，鲁道夫失约了，大受打击的艾玛一病不起。
