◎简 介
自幼父母双亡的胡斐（黎明）随家仆平四在砖窑场隐居，为避免被人认出遭遇伏击，二人在人前总作平凡人打扮，但私下胡斐却是刻苦习武，终练成胡家刀谱。
得悉对他施过一饭之恩的钟四一家被燕南天（徐锦江）之子燕子胥逼害，胡斐出头教训了燕子胥并把他捉至北帝庙，但终被燕南天救出。胡斐尾随燕南天赶往京城准备伺机报仇时，遇上行踪飘忽的袁紫衣（张敏），被其吸引，不久两人互生好感。其后袁紫衣不幸遭人下毒瞎了双眼，为救她，胡斐向药王传人程灵素（李嘉欣）求救，却引来另一段恩爱情仇。
