◎简 介
大学生理查德（克里斯托弗·里夫 饰）在毕业典礼上遇到了一个老妇人，老妇人送给他一只金表，并表示等他回来。虽然他感到非常奇怪，但事情也不了了之了。8年后他成为一个著名的剧本作家，他为了寻找灵感来到了一家酒店度假，酒店历史悠久，在历史陈列室内他被一张女明星Elise（简·西 摩尔 饰）的照片深深吸引住了，并认得她就是送金表的老妇人。原来老妇人在送于他金表的晚上已经离世了。而他通过梦境，回到时光倒流的70年前，发现自己竟与这名女明星拥有一段美丽的爱情故事。
