◎简 介
清朝光绪年间，守卫森严的大内金库，竟遭悍匪劫去黄金二百万两。外号“万人斩”的总捕头冷天鹰（陈观泰 饰）受命於十天内，缉捕以方逢甲（谷峰饰）为首的众劫匪归案。缉捕过程中方逢甲部署大批匪徒乔装村民，向冷天鹰及其手下施以突击，冷天鹰等人损失惨重，而冷也在猝不及防下身受重伤，几陷绝境，而这时，他却得知了一个天大的秘密……
本片剧本改编自著名功夫片导演张彻1969年的电影《铁手无情》，是桂治洪导演生涯中唯一古装武侠作品，以人皆所欲、斩破贪念和舍身成仁为题材，格局精奇，拍出肃杀和深沉的气氛。
