◎简 介
弗兰克（保罗·纽曼 Paul Newman 饰）是一名律师，职业之外，他唯一的爱好就是喝酒，然而喝酒误事，导致弗兰克的业界名声一路走低。为了挽回声誉，弗兰克的朋友米基（杰克·瓦尔登 Jack Warden 饰）给他介绍了一宗大案，一名女子在教会医院中由于医疗事故而陷入了昏迷，弗兰克要帮助女子向医院讨回公道。
