实际上，梅瑞狄斯根本就没哟任何的教育理想，她行为不端又满口脏话，对待学生更是毫无责任感。她只想在尽可能短的时间里找到一个接盘侠，让她重回坐享其成的生活。校长卡尔（大卫·艾兰·格里尔 David Alan Grier 饰）是一个有些单纯的善良男人，他天真的认为，梅瑞狄斯是一个好老师。
