剧情的基调也会发生改变，此前主要聚焦马赫特饰演的Harvey Specter和亚当斯饰演的Mike Ross之间的男性关系，现在将用其他元素替代。原卡司莎拉·拉弗提、里克·霍夫曼等回归，最新一季加入成为常规主演的杜勒·希尔也会回归。第8季将于4月多伦多开拍，预计年末播出。
