◎简 介
第一部由英语舞台剧改编成电视剧的新加坡年代剧，讲述五六十年代新赛凤戏曲名伶“剃头刀”温亚签成名的故事。亚签在一个小农村诞生，因父亲怀疑她是妻子遭日军性侵后所生下来的，原本要将她丢弃，在母亲力保下侥幸活了下来。亚签因此从小不获父亲喜爱，但她乖巧懂事，希望因此能获得父亲的疼爱，母亲也很心疼她，对她特别照顾。阿爸多次丢弃亚签无果，决定卖掉她，牙签幸运逃过。
亚签决定出去工作，到火柴厂当女工。她工作勤奋，获得奖金也只想着要给不喜欢她的爸爸，令同事阿南很佩服。
阿母再次临盆，却在产下第12个孩子后，难产而死。阿爸将气发泄在亚签身上，指她给这个家带来不幸，将她赶走。亚签决定投靠柔佛的远亲，踏上不可知的未来……
