◎简 介
在恐怖的致命病毒横行28周之后，英国境内已经空无一人。由于失去了载体，病毒也随之消亡。随着一架从美国飞来的运输机的降落，在病毒爆发前就离开英国的英国人，重新踏上了被病毒肆虐半年的土地。这可以说是地球上最后的一群英国人，重建家园的重担就落在了这群平民身上。然而，重建工作才开展不久，就有人报告发现了病毒感染的幸存者。科学家们也希望能从幸存者身上提取血清研究出对付病毒的疫苗。可是，万万没有想到的是，病毒并没有像大家想象中的那样已经消亡，反而进化后变得更加强大。这英伦三岛上最后的一群人们，将面对空前的危机……
