◎简 介
在广告公司工作的片桐哲平（木村拓哉饰）个性洒脱不羁，在创作部总是难以与同事沟通，被上司一怒之下调向需要向客户点头哈腰的营业部。这是倒霉的一天。对于营业部助理上杉理子（松隆子饰）来说，这天同样阴暗，她刚被男友甩，二人在公车站相遇，唱K开房度相依偎度过了一晚，其实什么也没发生。
次日哲平在营业部再遇理子，发现二人已是同事，且活泼可爱的理子很得同事喜爱。哲平心中一直对高中时期的女友水原早苗（纯名里纱饰）念念不忘，这天居然再度重逢。哲平高兴地不得了，已婚的早苗努力掩饰着婚姻中出现的问题，但却无法制止自己向哲平靠拢。
而理子已经对哲平倾心，为他默默做了很多事情，哲平也感觉和理子在一起时特别开心。当理子向哲平要求一个确定的关系时，哲平退缩了。理子买到了哲平最爱的书，对早苗说要亲手交给哲平，早苗使了手段让哲平一直陪伴自己以致错过了约会的时间。当哲平赶到约会地点，伊人已经不在。但是大屏幕上却打出了理子的表白心声。哲平被理子深深打动，以同样的方式向理子表白。
二人甜蜜地恋爱，但潇洒惯的哲平还不确定就能这样停下来，理子对这样的哲平感到灰心，毅然辞职回到家乡，等待哲平作出最后的决定。
