1975年，逆鳞乐队正在录制他们的最后一张专辑，主唱五郎（高良健吾 饰）和团长繁树（伊藤淳史 饰）抱着复杂的心情把专辑命名为《鱼的故事》；1982年，大学生们盛传着关于专辑《鱼的故事》的恐怖传说，平日里胆小的大学生雅史（滨田岳 饰）在夜晚回家的出租车上听到了这首，然后遇到了改变他人生的事；2009年，一艘轮渡载着旅客和少女麻美（多部未华子 饰）在海上行驶，却遇上了劫持轮渡的歹徒，可这时，正义使者（森山未来 饰）出现了；2012年，距离世界末日的最后五小时，奇迹却在这时出现……
