【故事简介】
生活在一个偏远村庄的少女可可一直渴望成为一名魔法师，但是这个世界只有出生就是魔法师的人才能成为魔法师。在一次偶然事故中，可可不小心看到了魔法师奇弗利施展魔法的过程，发现了魔法的真相。于是可可便临摹起了自己还是孩童时一位自称魔法师的神秘男子卖给她的一本绘本，不料却用出了强大而危险的禁忌魔法，将自己的母亲与房子都变成了石头。发现了自己不小心将魔法真相泄露而返回寻找可可的奇弗利看到禁忌魔法所造成的惨状，决心将她收为自己的徒弟，解开「绘本」之谜，帮助她将自己的母亲恢复原状。
