◎简 介
东京的吉祥寺一带，绿意昂然，安静怡人，时间仿佛停滞。这个关于爱的故事就发生在这里。
小岛麻子（小泉今日子 饰）是个单身的女性漫画家，居住在吉祥寺，由于赶稿而忽略了爱猫沙巴的身体，导致爱猫因病死去而不自知。自责的她处于静默的情绪中，无法再画出漫画。身为她助手的直美（上野树里 饰）担心小岛麻子的状况，直至麻子在宠物店被一只小猫吸引，取名“咕咕”，重新振作。
在吉祥寺的公园里，咕咕追逐母猫，人们欣赏樱花，天地万物自然地共处一起，实习医生青自（加濑亮饰）闯入了麻子的生活，当生活的趣味遍布四周时，麻子的身体却出现状况……
自少女时代起就立志画出令人感觉幸福的漫画的麻子，真正寻找到属于自己的幸福了吗？“咕咕”这个名字也许是她的最佳回答。
