◎简 介
17岁少年詹姆斯（托比·瑞格波 Toby Regbo 饰）性格早熟，有一个任性的母亲、一个自恋的父亲和一个不好相处的姐姐，平日除了和祖母投缘外他更喜欢一个人呆着。他的父母虽然离异了，但在某点上很有共识，就是詹姆斯一定患有孤僻症，于是他们送他去心理医生（刘玉玲 饰）那儿接受治疗。在这个夏天过去后，詹姆斯就要去布朗大学念书，但他一点也提不起兴趣。他很喜欢艺术画廊的同志经理，为了博得对方好感他甚至用假的网络身份去勾引搭讪，结果惹下了天大麻烦。似乎自始至终只有祖母能够理解他的各种负面情绪，寻找自我是不是真的就那么的不容易？
本片根据作家皮特·卡梅隆的同名小说改编，通过第一人称叙述，展示了一个现代青少年的奇特内心世界。
