◎简 介
图利（凯文·克莱恩 Kevin Kline 配音）和米格尔（肯尼思·布拉纳 Kenneth Branagh 配音）是一对职业骗子，意外之中得到了前往传说中的黄金之城的地图，兴奋无比的两人自认为找到了通往财富的道路，在战马奥利弗（弗兰克·维尔克 Frank Welker 配音）的帮助下，两人从囚禁他们的船舶上逃脱，踏上了冒险的旅途。
大祭司泽科尔（阿曼德·阿山特 Armand Assante 饰）企图谋权篡位，他设计了一个阴谋，将图利和米格尔捧上了神座以此笼络人心，而图利和米格尔两人必须得到土著秋儿（罗西·培瑞兹 Rosie Perez 饰）的帮助才能够抵达目的地。与此同时，在利益面前，图利和米格尔的友情亦在不断地经受着考验。
