◎简 介
此片是1979年《惊呼狂叫》（When A Stranger Calls）的续集，在第一集中，吉儿（卡洛·凯恩）一日在当保姆时，不断接到奇怪的电话，电话的另一端总是传来诡异的一句话：“你去察看过孩子了吗？”吉儿向警方求救，警方告诉她一个毛骨悚然的消息：这些神秘电话都是从她的屋子中打出来的！当她去察看孩子们时，他们竟然全都被谋杀了……
此续集则发生在五年后，吉儿在一所大学中担任心理辅导员之职，当年发生的惨事，仍深印在她心中。某日，大学生茱莉亚（Jill Schoelen）在当保姆时，发觉有人藏匿在她家中，她向警方求助却徒劳无功，於是她转向大学辅导老师吉儿求救，迫使吉儿又陷入当年恐怖的经历中。
