在克拉斯的帮助和教导下，纽克的职业生涯渐渐走上了正轨，就在此时，一位名叫安妮（苏珊·萨兰登 Susan Sarandon 饰）的漂亮姑娘的出现让克拉斯和纽克之间的师徒情谊产生了裂缝。
