◎简 介
1908年的剑桥，他们相遇，心中隐约情动。那时的克里夫（休?格兰特 Hugh Grant 饰）和莫里斯（詹姆斯?威尔比James Wilby 饰）还是青葱年岁，克里夫终于突破同性禁忌向莫里斯吐露爱意，莫里斯欣然接受，甚至爱得比克里夫还要真诚炽热。在克里夫选择了仕途而放弃这段感情时，莫里斯仍然坚守。他在等待克里夫回来，却只等到了他和一个贵族女子的婚姻。
莫里斯认识了克里夫的家仆桑德。他身上有着异于克里夫的气质。当他爱上莫里斯时，万念俱灰的莫里斯没有拒绝这段新感情的开始。然而，两个阶层，不同志趣，终究是二人发展的绊脚石。桑德家人叫桑德辞工前往阿根廷定居，桑德却宁愿留在莫里斯的天地。
