◎简 介
1968年，为攫取北九州关门海峡毒品走私生意，大友田组成员楠铁弥（山崎努 饰）及其流浪者好友黑田修次（菅原文太 饰）行刺敌对帮派共荣会首领正木严。刺杀成功后，黑田担下所有罪名，入狱七年；而大友田组则从此独霸关门海峡，风头无两。
七年刑满，黑田找到铁弥，索要大友田组曾许下的五百万酬金。但沉迷毒品的铁弥在组内威望直降，酬金要求被组长大友田德次（西村晃 饰）拒绝。万般无奈之下，他和黑田劫持德次勒索酬金。次日，大友田组若头相原重彦（成田三樹夫 饰）与黑田会面，却提议要对方除掉意图脱离大友组的老叔赤松猛夫（室田日出男 饰）。出色完成任务的黑田得到大友田的赏识，并不计前嫌与其结拜为兄弟。但强大的大友田组随后便迎来了一场继任领导人的争夺风暴……
