孟思晨（钟楚红饰）自广东农村偷渡至香港，匿居于山间木屋区，与同为偷渡客的一群打工仔同居一室，迫于生计，沦为众男泄欲工具。泰国华侨江远生（万梓良饰）客居香港，流落街头靠打黑拳谋生。一次江远生与黑道人士发生冲突，躲避之际偶遇孟思晨。孟思晨助江远生藏匿，二人结下露水之缘。后思晨经人介绍认识独守空房的老木匠（关海山饰），答应为求子心切的他生子，条件则是与其同住并获取港人身份证。生活安定后，思晨又遇远生，二人互生爱意，偷偷幽会。远生的一身武艺被黑道老板（曹查理饰）看中，力捧其成为职业拳手，并许诺总决赛胜利后送其去美国栽培。不料总决赛之际，老板命其打假拳，并强迫其服用兴奋剂。而与此同时思晨看到“怀孕妇女不能赦免遣返离港”的新闻，万念俱灰。到底这对苦命鸳鸯能否看到人生曙光？
