根據紐約名廚的真實故事改編，在墨西哥同性之愛仍難見光的年代，交織出愛情、自由與美國夢的苦甜滋味。已然如夢的故鄉光景、火花四射的邂逅、難以割捨的親情、青澀懵懂年少時光，在畫面游移之間一一浮現，在時空交錯堆疊中，巧妙地漫步在紀錄與重演之間，模糊了夢境與現實的邊界。
