舞娘们的生活紧密相连，不管是在舞台上的战争，或是化妆室的明争暗斗，透过蓝蜥蜴舞厅，观众看到舞台上每个使出浑身解术散发魅力的舞娘，时常有误会、紧张的关系、互相忍耐的生活实况，与背后不为人知的秘辛。
和那部知名烂片《脱衣舞娘》不同，《蓝蜥蜴俱乐部》相当程度上是舞女真实的写照，每个女人背后都有自己辛酸的故事，加大这方面的内容比区区露露屁股露露胸部有意义的多，影片中演员钢管舞的表演的确养眼，但沉重的主题和灰暗的气氛依然鲜明。
PS:发现舞女乔竟然是曼森老婆扮演的，还让我觉得眼熟的就是在《杯酒人生》中让人过目不忘的Sandra Oh。
