每个美艳的舞娘背后都有不为人知的故事：安琪儿渴望她能有个全然属于她的孩子，她想好好的照顾他并将他扶养长大，然而她凌乱而不适合社会生存的性格却使这个小小的梦变得遥不可及；相反地琼怀孕了，但总是做出一些惊世骇俗事情的她却不想要小孩；洁丝蜜有著写出美丽诗句的天份，但她却对自己的作品毫无自信直到遇见另一个知音；而年轻的洁西迫切寻找著爱，但她的男朋友却总是让她对爱感到失望；丝多米则尝试要忘掉她今生的最爱：她的哥哥…

舞娘们的生活紧密相连，不管是在舞台上的战争，或是化妆室的明争暗斗，透过蓝蜥蜴舞厅，观众看到舞台上每个使出浑身解术散发魅力的舞娘，时常有误会、紧张的关系、互相忍耐的生活实况，与背后不为人知的秘辛。

和那部知名烂片《脱衣舞娘》不同，《蓝蜥蜴俱乐部》相当程度上是舞女真实的写照，每个女人背后都有自己辛酸的故事，加大这方面的内容比区区露露屁股露露胸部有意义的多，影片中演员钢管舞的表演的确养眼，但沉重的主题和灰暗的气氛依然鲜明。

PS:发现舞女乔竟然是曼森老婆扮演的，还让我觉得眼熟的就是在《杯酒人生》中让人过目不忘的Sandra Oh。
