对于纽约的女继承人帕特里夏(Patricia，杰西-维拉斯奎兹饰，Jaci Velasquez)来说，“他”是个疯狂的冒险者，使她从母亲烦人的说教中解脱出来。对于芝加哥的洛雷纳(Lorena，罗塞莉-桑切斯饰，Roselyn Sanchez)来说，“他”身上的每一个细胞都符合她的梦想，是一位富有诗意的情人，具有在律师严肃的外表下所激发出的热情。对于迈阿密热情奔放的希希(Cici，索菲娅-维加拉饰，Sofia Vergara)来说，“他”是唯一一个与她一样燃烧着激情的男人。

著名的占星家沃尔特-默卡多(Walter Mercado)在电视上对于星位的释义似乎是专门为这三位女人量身定制的。在激情的驱使下，希希、洛雷纳和帕特里夏分别前往洛杉矶去给“心中偶像”一个惊喜。洛雷纳和帕特里夏是坐飞机去的，希希是开车前往，顺便将朋友的车送去。这三位女人一起来到了洛杉矶，竟发现她们的白马王子实际上是同一个人，晕……

托马斯-菲恩特斯(Tomas Fuentes，埃杜瓦多-维拉斯蒂吉饰，Eduardo Verastegui)是广告界的一位官员，事业如日中天。英俊、成熟、诙谐的托马斯对于这三位热情、美丽的女子同样富于激情，这份激情让他陷入了麻烦----一个大麻烦。在拿了一些镇定药后，托马斯径直从办公室回家，全然不知他最担心的事情就要变成现实。

似乎三位受爱折磨和愤怒的女人与一位被吓晕了的男子之间的碰撞还不够，命运之神可并没打算就此罢手。托马斯吃完药、喝了杯威士忌鸡尾酒，又被吓得晕了过去；希希开的车被警察所通缉；联邦调查局(FBI)也追来了；帕特里夏的路易-威登(Louis Vuitton)名牌包里除了给她钟爱的狗菲菲(Fifi)准备的玩具外，似乎还有些别的东西。

在美女盛会、居心不良的歹徒和熙熙攘攘的拉丁舞节日里，这三女人一边等着托马斯苏醒过来从她们之间挑选一位，一边走上了一条友谊、智慧和自我发现之路。

虽然这三位女人都认为托马斯是她们的珍爱，她们真正的回报却是完全出乎她们的意料。
