当年被父亲赶出家门的“巴罗洛男孩”如今已不再年少，他在影片中亲身叙述了当年的“年少轻狂”。数十年时光飞逝，他已成为皮埃蒙特（Piedmont）地区酿酒界的改革先驱之一，他就是伊林·奥特（Elio Altare），以他的名字命名的酒庄，如今是意大利仅有的获得超过20个三个酒杯（《大红虾》（Gambero Rosso）“三杯奖”的最高级别）的三家酒庄之一。由导演保罗·卡萨里（Paolo Casalis）与迪斯安奴·佳雅（Tiziano Gaia）执导的纪录片《巴罗洛男孩》，正是讲述了80年代，一群年轻的疯狂的酿酒师是如何变革该区的酿酒风潮，目前，该纪录片可透过官方网站购买DVD版本或在线付费观看。
