尹敏哲（朴海日饰）是一名资深的电视台节目导演，在普通的寻找新闻素材中他意外发现了一家大型医疗企业也涉及其中，于是他带着女下属（金星饰）开始调查真相。令人意外的是，生物技术权威的李章焕博士（李璟荣饰）竟然涉嫌造假干细胞，但无奈的是他们没有准确的证据，就在这时，正义的举报者——博士团队的研究员沈敏浩（柳演锡饰）出现了，他瞒着妻子（柳贤静饰）和家人艰难地举报了造假者。沈敏浩的坚持让尹敏哲更加地坚定，与此同时李章焕采取了一系列非正义的手段来阻止他们的新闻报道，真相和国家权益的抗争一触即发。本片改编自轰动韩国的2006年韩国克隆之父黄禹锡博士干细胞造假风波。
