In order to let things cool down from their latest heist, Popeye and his group of thieves go to Macao on a job. But the mastermind behind this job is none other than Popeye’s old partner Macao Park, who escaped with 68kg of gold several years ago on their last job together. Macao Park brought Chinese thieves as well but little did they know what Macao Park planned for each one of them. But his plan takes an unexpected turn when Popeye brings Pepsi, an old flame of Macao Park, to settle the old score. The thieves’ target is a $20 million diamond known as ‘Tear of the Sun’, kept safely away in a casino, brought there to be sold by a notorious Chinese fence. While working together to steal this fabled diamond, they all have their own agenda to keep the diamond for themselves. But who will succeed and live to see another day?

崔东勋导演在接受媒体采访时表示，现在敲定的这一帮演员都是在《The Thieves》剧本初稿进行创作时期给予其灵感的演员。他将在影片中将他们的个性和演技风格完美保留呈现，在电影中上述几位时有冲突时有配合，而他们充满激情的合作也是影片致力于呈现给观众的亮点。

全智贤献出韩国银幕初吻

12日，在首尔小公洞WESTIN CHOSUN酒店举办了电影《The Thieves》的记者发布会。发布会上，全智贤大胆吐露吻戏感言。“拍摄吻戏之前，崔东勋导演表示至少要拍摄10以上才能过关，所以在开拍前，我就有一点心里负担，觉得既不能拍得太好，也不能拍的不好，左右为难。”

她还说，“所有的演员在拍吻戏时都会觉得很紧张，此次我是第一次与后辈演员合作，也是第一次在国内拍吻戏镜头，能把我的国内萤幕初吻献给金秀贤，我感到很满足。拍摄时，我问金秀贤是第一次拍吻戏么？他说不是。我还觉得自己有点亏呢！”全智贤用搞笑的语气，使全场气氛融洽。

《The Thieves》试映全智贤金秀贤亲密金惠秀性感

7月10日下午，由韩国演员金允锡、金惠秀、李政宰、全智贤、金秀贤联袂主演的电影《The Thieves》在首尔往十里CGV举行了媒体试映会。

由执导《老千》、《犯罪的再组成》、《田禹治》的崔东勋导演携手演员金惠秀、全智贤、金秀贤、李政宰、金允锡、吴达秀等保证票房的巨星出演的《The Thieves》，是由中韩两国最具代表性的顶级艺人合作打造的，它将是2012年夏季最受期待的鸿篇巨制。该片早在上映前就已经将版权出售给马来西亚、印度尼西亚、中国、泰国等8个国家和地区，受到全亚洲的关注。

花絮

·《盗贼同盟》原定于2010年末或贺岁档上映，但由于拍摄和后期制作较为复杂，推迟上映日期至2012年7月。

·香港演员任达华首次出演韩片，崔东勋表示从小就看惯了他演反派，而且随着岁月流逝，更加能够感受到这位演员的魅力。

·影片2011年6月起在首尔和澳门两地取景拍摄。片中出现的澳门赌场——Dream of City是真实存在的赌场。
