贝内特饰演艾玛，一位抵抗运动的斗争者，她在鼓舞马索与她一起拯救成千上万的孩子，并带领他们走出法国前往瑞士的过程中扮演了至关重要的角色。施维赫夫饰演臭名昭著的党卫军指挥官Klaus Barbie，他被阿道夫·希特勒亲自指派去破坏抵抗运动，对马索和他的同伴们带到安全区域的孤儿们保有特别的憎恨。

Marcel的长子Baptiste Marceau将担任执行制片人，熙颐影业购得中国发行权，秋季开拍。

Marcel Marceau父亲来自斯特拉斯堡，是位犹太屠夫，在奥斯威辛集中营被杀害，因此他学习哑剧来求生，并帮助犹太孤儿们。Marceau最出名的角色是白脸小丑“毕普先生”，他的专业表演生涯长达60多年，于2007年逝世，享年84岁。
