生活在南非的土著族黑人少年祖鲁与白人少年雷诺是好朋友，但自从白人女孩罗怡娜从美国来到这里，并与雷诺要好后，祖鲁的生活发生了很大变化。罗怡娜歧视黑人并常常欺辱祖鲁，致使祖鲁带着怨恨离开心爱的女友去了美国。25年后,因盗窃罪被捕入狱的祖鲁被押送回南非继续监禁。途中，他抢走了南非反政府右翼分子头目代尔哈德的汽车和一张50万元的兑奖券，且巧遇多年未见的好友雷诺，遂与雷诺、廷茜同往萨恩城，获得了50万元大奖。与雷诺离婚后的罗怡娜此时已与代尔哈德同居。为了夺回50万元巨奖，恼羞成怒的代尔哈德与罗怡娜一路追捕祖鲁和雷诺，并欲将他们处死……
